Overview
The aim of zeroaggression™ is simple: to provide top quality training for professionals who may face aggression or violence. We cover every aspect; from producing positive, non-aggressive environments through to handling hostage situations and riots.
We come to you - so you immediately have a 'critical mass' of staff trained in one approach. In terms of cost, by having the tutor come to you, you do away with a multitude of travel and overnight accommodation expenses which have no bearing on staff development.
Specifically, we offer the following courses:
The RAID® Course. This is the UK's top selling and best regarded course on creating an actively positive environment with people who are difficult to manage. It therefore prevents aggression by creating a positive environment that discourages aggression and violence from ever occurring. Run by zeroaggression™ under licence from The RAID® Institute.
Preventing face-to-face Violence - how not to get hit. This is the UK's premier 'defusing aggression' course. It concentrates on preventing aggression happening and, in particular, effective non-physical interventions when it does.
Ethical Escape covers physical 'breakaway' techniques that can be used ethically and effectively. Includes a videotape to remind you after the course.
Caring Control covers further physical techniques, this time for professionals who wish to enter an already violent situation. This includes helping people who self-harm as well as people who are fighting with each other.
Handling the Stress Following Major Incidents is aimed at helping professionals identify and reduce the stress in their colleagues following major incidents such as assault. However, the techniques can also be directed towards oneself.
In every case we aim that the training should be not only effective, but also boost the professional's morale, their self-esteem and their esteem for the organisation for which they work.
